UR isn't the core problem, it's the symptom - CC spam needs to be fixed (it's a bit insane Necro's pillar has 3 charges and can be spammed on a relatively short cd along with spikes doing mini-stuns for example). specifically targeting UR for a nerf isn't really justified because it's ignoring the real issue with Barbarian BG balance (banquet set) and UR being nerfed just makes it harder to play Barb at low reso (and not by much mind you). and Saders' immunity is on a longer cooldown that has to be manually activated. Monks weren't a problem at low resonance because they need ridiculous Life scaling to make their bubble stronger (hence why whales rolled Monk for a bit until the Banquet set basically broke game balance for Barbs too). but while the CC spam meta is still here, the only way to survive as melee is to have immunities/death prevention. when the core skill "Whirlwind" is being dropped in favor of just charging in and letting ticking damage get kills, you should know you fucked up balancing something.ĬC needs diminishing returns and some healthy nerfs (there's too many little "bump" effects that act like mini-stuns imo), which would pave the way for a Barbarian UR nerf.
